FAQ

These answers are short on purpose. Use them to clear one misunderstanding quickly, then go back to the deeper page if the workflow still feels uncertain.

Why did the script throw an error as soon as I added it?

At least one enabled slot TimeFrame: is below the chart timeframe.

The shipped 5 / 15 / 60 ladder is comfortable on a 5m chart or lower. On a higher chart timeframe, raise or disable the conflicting slot before you expect the script to work normally.

Does this repaint?

The better question is whether the stack is using confirmed or still-forming higher-timeframe values.

With On Bar Close? on, the stack uses settled requested-timeframe values. With On Bar Close? off, the stack can react to the still-forming requested bar.

That is why this manual uses timing language like confirmed and forming instead of blanket repaint slogans.

Does Blended Weight: 0 turn a slot off?

No.

It removes the slot from the blended summary only. The slot can still plot, still alert, and still count toward full-stack alignment as long as it remains enabled.

Why is a hidden slot still affecting the indicator?

Because Hide Stoch 0x Plot changes the visuals only.

If you want the slot gone from logic as well, disable it. If you want it alive but out of the summary, keep it enabled and set Blended Weight: to 0.

Why did the blended pair disappear?

Usually one of three reasons:

  1. Plot Blended K/D is off

  2. every active slot weight is 0

  3. the current setup has no valid blended contributor

Check those before you assume the indicator is broken.

Do Overbought and Oversold mean reversal?

No.

They mark stretched blended conditions inside this tool's centered scale. They can be useful review prompts. They are not universal reversal permissions.

What does Optional Ticker: actually add?

It lets one slot read another symbol while keeping the result inside the same bounded pane.

That can add context. It does not prove that the other market leads, confirms, or explains the chart symbol.

Why does the line look bearish when the bearish alert did not fire?

The color system is slightly looser than the strict bearish state.

If K is no longer above D, the color can already lean down. The bearish alert still waits for a true below relationship. Flat or near-touching transitions are where this usually shows up.

Why are blended alerts still available when the blend is hidden?

Because hiding the blended pair changes the visuals only.

The blended calculations and alert conditions still exist unless the underlying summary itself loses all contributors.

Are blend and alignment supposed to match?

Not always.

The blend is a weighted summary. Alignment asks whether enabled valid slots agree.

Those answers can line up. They can also diverge when one slot has more weight or when a zero-weight slot is still enabled.

When they diverge, ask which question you needed answered instead of assuming the indicator is contradicting itself.

Do the ALMA controls matter if I am not using ALMA?

No.

ALMA Floor Offset?, ALMA Offset:, and ALMA Sigma: only affect smoothing choices that actually use ALMA.
