Quick Start
This page is about the shortest correct first run.
The goal is not to build your final workflow in one sitting. The goal is to get one chart state running cleanly, know why it is valid, and leave with a baseline you can verify before you customize anything else.
First decision: which path fits your chart?
Start here before you add the indicator.
Why this matters:
- every enabled slot must be at or above the chart timeframe
- the shipped defaults are useful, but they are not chart-timeframe-neutral
- if you skip this check, the rest of the setup becomes harder than it needs to be
What a correct first run should look like
Before you worry about alerts, workflows, or advanced MA types, a healthy first run is much simpler:
- the chart loads without a timeframe runtime error
- you can name which slots are active
- you know whether those slots are confirmed or live-forming
- you can tell which of those slots are shaping the blend
If you do not have those four things yet, stay on this page a little longer.
Option A: use the default stack as intended
Use this path when your chart timeframe is `5` minutes or lower.
- Add Axiom MA Pro to the chart.
- Confirm that you can see three slot lines and one blended line.
- Open the settings panel and confirm `On Bar Close?` is still enabled for `MA 01`, `MA 02`, and `MA 03`.
- Change one active slot's `Blended Weight:` for a moment and confirm the blended line moves while that slot's own line stays where it is.
- Change the weight back so you return to the default profile.
- Pause and say what you are looking at in plain language.
What you should be able to say before moving on:
- "This is a 3-slot same-symbol stack."
- "The blend is reacting to slot weights, not acting on its own."
- "My active slots are still in confirmed mode."
Option B: adapt the stack to your chart first
Use this path when your chart timeframe is above `5` minutes, or when you already know you do not want the default `5 / 15 / 60` ladder.
- Add the indicator.
- Open the settings panel immediately.
- For each enabled slot, compare `TimeFrame:` to the chart timeframe.
- Raise any conflicting slot timeframe, or disable that slot entirely.
- Confirm that the runtime error is gone and the chart now draws only the layers you intended to keep.
- Confirm `On Bar Close?` is enabled for the slots you plan to trust first.
- Stop there and read the chart once before adding new slots.
What you should be able to say before moving on:
- "Every enabled slot is legal on this chart."
- "I know which slots I kept on purpose."
- "I am learning the stack I built, not fighting the stack I inherited."
Three quick sanity checks
Run these checks before you design workflows or alerts. Each one teaches a rule that matters later.
If any one of those checks surprises you, slow down there. That is exactly the kind of misunderstanding this indicator can hide behind a clean-looking chart.
A sensible first configuration
If you are learning the indicator, keep the first session small:
- use no more than 3 active slots
- keep those slots on the same symbol
- leave all active slots on confirmed mode
- use one MA type across the first stack
- add alerts only after you can explain what each active slot is contributing
This is not about restraint for its own sake. It is about giving yourself a chart you can still verify under pressure.
If something goes wrong immediately
Start with these questions in order:
- Is any enabled slot timeframe lower than the chart timeframe?
- Did I expect a slot to exist even though I never enabled it?
- Did I hide a line and then forget it was still active?
- Did I turn `On Bar Close?` off and then read the slot as if nothing changed?
If you need the symptom-by-symptom version, go to Troubleshooting.
Finish line for this page
You are ready to move on when you can answer these without guessing:
- Which active slot has the lowest timeframe on your chart?
- Which active slots are confirmed, and which are live-forming?
- Which active slots are shaping the blend right now?
Once that version makes sense, move to MTF and Repainting, then Settings, then Visuals and Logic.
